No Time For Love edition by Tina Radcliffe Literature Fiction eBooks
No Time for Love was a quick moving sweet romance, and was an enjoyable read. Nicki Baldwin, a woman moving up in the world of real estate, is poised to cinch the deal of a lifetime and get the recognition she deserves—until a hipster-like tenant, Steven Smith, mysteriously pulls the rug out from under her. Little does she know, the lowly tenant has some business smarts of his own in his past. At the same time, Steven is smitten with Nicki and does whatever he can to be in her life. The story line was great, with interesting twists as Nicki moves through her journey. Both Nicki and Steven are very likeable characters and their interactions are sweet. Both characters seem to be Christians, but other than that, I didn’t see a strong inspirational Christian message. The book is very clean and yet believable. About half or three quarters through the book, I felt like the pace picked up, maybe a little too much, and I wished I knew more about what was going on in Nicki’s heart. That being said, it was a quick read, and I never felt bogged down.
Tina Radcliffe has a gift for spinning a story and has a well-defined writer’s voice. I recommend this book and would gladly read more of her books!

No Time For Love edition by Tina Radcliffe Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
An amazing book by Tina Radcliffe. Nicki is on the fast track, go, go, go all the time. Steven is just learning to slow down. A wonderful book about learning what is important in life and learning to slow down and enjoy the pasta.
The characters in this novella are full of life...such as the elderly twin sisters living in the old Victorian house....a house which is a contention point for the hero and heroine. Mysterious Steve is a great hero, helpful to his neighbors and endearing as he cooks each recipe from his mother's cookbook...in exact order. Nicki is a work-driven woman who is striving to do well in her career and put past issues behind.
Settle in with a cappuccino and an eclair as this couple finds romance amid interesting challenges. (Plus there is an Italian recipe at the end.) Another sweet story filled with humor and touched with inspiration by Tina Radcliffe!
A favorite quote God put him in Denver, and in this particular house, for a good reason. It was the Big Guy's job to figure out a solution.
Nicki's career (and her life, she asserts) depends on landing a piece of property for a coffee shop parking lot. But a handsome and annoying man--Steven, is it?--who knows his way around his kitchen is bent on standing in Nikki's way in No Time For Love by author Tina Radcliffe.
This story opens with an engaging sense of mystery. Not the darker kind of mystery, like a suspense novel or something, but the kind of setup that makes you pleasantly curious to figure out what exactly is going on. Both Steve's and Nicki's points of view kept me entertained, especially Nicki's dry outlook at her humorous mishaps.
I eventually felt like I'd missed something rather big, though. As the story glides from a certain point to another, it seems as though a connecting chunk of development is left out of the romance. Hence, it's like the finale that shows up belongs to a different story. It doesn't feel altogether "earned" here.
Nevertheless, this quick and sweet stop was a nice break to take, and other readers of ChristFic romance should enjoy it.
Delightful, delightful, delightful! Nicki is a woman who is hard wired for success and when focused there is little that can stand in her way. Steve is a man who has seen success and all the work and sacrifice it entails, and he's cool with leaving the rough stuff behind. He has a new rush that involves in investing in memories and those that surround him. When the two meet there is a clash of epic proportions. Nicki is exasperated by the man who is standing in the way of her singular focus. His very being is a mystery and his actions an anomaly.
Nicki and Steve are a delight. The setting is wonderful. Having lived part of my single life in a third floor attic apartment of an old Victorian, I was happy to be transported back to the style as I read (I'd like to say pages but I read this on my ) this sweet novella. Nicki had her quirky little ways and her stubborn mind set made for a fun read. Steve's twin neighbors were also a delight. I felt as if I had taken residence in a place that I did not want to leave. Which is exactly why I took so long to read what I could have finished rather quickly. I simply did not want the love story to end.
I received this ebook free via , but the opinions are totally my own and I would have paid the 99 cents at the time if that were the option. Just sayin' as I do buy a lot of 99 cent reads.
I love this Author because she writes such real people. This novella is no exception. I REALLY like her go get 'em heroine Nicki. Tough girl working in a man's world with a hard shell that covers the soft heart that doesn't want to be betrayed. She's gonna make it on her own, well, with help from God, of course - but she isn't going to trust some guy to take care of her or her needs. Tough shell, soft innards. I love her.
Steve "Smith" Chasen is quite the hero for Nicki. I love how Tina has him making his way through his grandmother's family heirloom recipes one at a time. Italian, from the old country recipes. YES! I can almost see Grandmother working in the background doing what proverbial Italian Grandmas do - match make for their children and grandchildren.
It's a fun story when corporate ladder climbing girl meets done with corporate ladder climbing boy. The chemistry is there and good ol' Italian food/humor/advice thrown in for spice. I really enjoyed this story. Good, clean, romance you can sigh happy sighs over once the reading is done. There's just a touch of "God stuff" in there too, but very smooth on delivery and not offensive - unless you are a person who strongly dislikes any mention of God in stories - then? you might find yourself unhappy - but not with the story.
If I haven't mentioned it before... I LOVE this story. I happen to love this author too. If you like this short work of hers, I KNOW you'll love her other stuff as well.
p.s. I won this book on a Blog give-away. No expectations of reviews required for receipt.
